Carleton Colllege, Winter 2024

Anastasia Pantazopoulou (Classics), Aselya Gullickson ’26, and Sam Much ’27 will be reading modern adaptations of Euripides’s Medea set, written, or first-performed in the Americas and Europe to identify identity-tags for each of the play to be included in the dataset of Tracing Medea, a digital educational open-access resource which maps modern adaptations of the ancient play around the world.

The research partnership was funded by Ethical Inquiry at Carleton.
