I am mentoring a Melon Mays Undergraduate Fellow, Ellie Simon ‘26 (History major), who is conducting research on the lived experiences and culture of the Indo-Greek hybrid communities in the northwest region of the Indian subcontinent, primarily focusing on the period between Alexander’s conquest in 331 BCE and the fall of the Indo-Greek kingdom in 10 CE.
Ellie won the Classical Association of the Middle West and South (CAMWS) Presidential Award for Outstanding Poster Presentation at the 2025 Annual Meeting.
